Purr Vida Lounge has rescued 163 cats since 2024 while caring for approximately 20–30 cats at a time. Our goal is always adoption—not keeping every cat permanently. Each successful adoption opens a safe space for another rescue. By expanding our safe capacity to as many as 50 cats at a time, we could potentially double the number of cats we rescue over time.
Miss Meow does not take a salary for her rescue work. If our community helps provide the space and equipment, she will provide the work, care, and commitment.
Why We Need Your Help
At any given time, Purr Vida Lounge is caring for 20 to 30 rescued cats. Miss Meow does all of the rescue work without taking a salary, so every dollar donated goes straight to the cats.

Adoption is always the goal. Because cats are adopted and spaces turn over, expanding safe capacity to as many as 50 cats at a time could potentially double our total rescue impact over time — an ambition we are building toward, not a guarantee.

Our $5,000 Monthly Rescue Goal
It takes about $5,000 every month to care for 30 cats. Reaching this goal provides one full month of care.
A Safer Space for Vulnerable Kittens
Our next major goal is a separate, protected kitten space. Kittens are especially vulnerable to contagious illness, so keeping them apart from adult cats and newly rescued arrivals creates a far safer environment to grow and recover.
