We want you to feel good about supporting our rescue work. This policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through Purr Vida Lounge.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with a purchase, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your order date. This applies to sessions, gift certificates, donations, and sponsorship payments, subject to the points below.
2. How to request a refund — card payments (Paddle)
Card purchases on this site are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. To request a refund for a card purchase:
- Visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email address you used at checkout.
- Select the order and choose "Request a refund", or contact Paddle support from that page.
- You can also email us at hello@purrvidalounge.com and we will help coordinate the request with Paddle.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank-side processing usually takes 5–10 business days.
3. Local payments — SINPE Móvil & PayPal
Payments made via SINPE Móvil or PayPal are processed directly by Purr Vida Lounge (not by Paddle). To request a refund for a local payment, email hello@purrvidalounge.com with your name, the amount, and the SINPE confirmation number or PayPal transaction ID. Refunds are returned to the same account you paid from.
4. Cancellations & rescheduling
- Shared lounge sessions: can be rescheduled or refunded up to 24 hours before the start time. Within 24 hours, we'll do our best to reschedule.
- Private experiences (Birthday, Private Yoga, Lounge Buyout): a deposit is taken to hold the venue. If you cancel at least 7 days before your date, we'll refund or transfer the deposit to another date. Within 7 days the deposit normally applies to the rescheduled session; we will still honour the 30-day refund window and any mandatory rights under the Paddle Buyer Terms or local consumer law.
- Gift certificates: refundable within 30 days of purchase as long as the code has not been redeemed.
- Donations & sponsorships: donations are voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable; we will refund a donation made by mistake if you contact us within 30 days. You may cancel a monthly sponsorship at any time through the Paddle customer portal or by emailing us — future charges stop immediately, and the most recent month is refundable on request within the 30-day window.
5. Paddle Buyer Terms & statutory rights
For card purchases the Paddle Refund Policy and Paddle Buyer Terms apply alongside this policy. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights you have under Costa Rican or other applicable law.
